redesign of the 1990 shoegaze/dream pop album Nowhere by the UK band Ride.
As part of an assignment, I created a targeted portfolio piece for a dream employer. I selected the Australian graphic design studio Next Episode, as they specialise in designing cover art and music packaging for a variety of different music acts.
My goal with this redesign was to modernise the cover art by making the colours more vibrant and to add my style into it through glitch art. By modernising this shoegaze/dream pop essential listen, modern audiences will be more intrigued to this quintessential shoegaze album.
